How to make your own portable bronzer compact:

Choose an Empty Makeup Case

Locate your case. I had an empty makeup case from ages ago that I had kept for future use. Wash it out.

Pour in Cinnamon

Pour some cinnamon into the case (Not too much) 

Add Sugar (Powdered) 

Pour some powdered sugar into the case. The amount will depend on how light you want the mixture to be for your skin. Mix Together the powders. I used a paint brush for this part. Add an Essential Oil to the mix. Only to firm the powers together and smell good! Apply and Enjoy Apply with a brush and enjoy! This project is a great way to bronze your skin with some items from around your house. 

Note: This is basically a loose powder, so carrying it around in your purse isn’t the best idea! This is more for if you run out, or don’t want to use any your prized brands for a day at the beach, etc.

DIY: Makeup Brush Cleaners

There are several different ways to make your own brush cleaner from supplies around your house. Here are a couple:

1 cup warm water and 1 Tablespoon Liquid Dish Detergent

1 cup of warm water and 1 tablespoon of baby shampoo

1 cup of warm water and 1 tablespoon of Woolite

Half a cup of warm water and a quarter of a cup of vinegar

Want longer eyelashes?

Apply vaseline to your eyelashes every night with a Q-tip or a clean mascara brush, and your eyelashes will grow thicker and longer! What this does is it moisturizes your lashes while you sleep. Eyelashes are basically hair surrounding your eyes, and if you use mascaras on them, they dry out and shorten! So what this is doing is just replenishing them, allowing them to grow to their full potential! Vaseline will not harm your eyes or skin, so this is completely safe!

Make sure in the morning that you completely wipe it all off, because your eye makeup will just slide off! Also, be patient! This does take about 2 weeks to really show.

Note: Vaseline is also a quick and easy way to remove makeup when in a hurry! But be sure to rinse your face with water afterwards.
